Personalised car gifts with their own reg
Every gift here is the same keyring: cast metal, 67.1 x 14.3 x 5.5 mm, with their UK reg on the front. What changes is the back, and who it is for. One fob is £19 and any two are £35, each in its own gift box.
For a new driver
Their first reg on their first keys. On the back, a few words from you such as "Drive safe, love Mum x", a map of home, or up to 30 seconds of a parent's voice. You need the reg to build it, so it suits the week they get the car better than the day of the test.
For a car lover
For the one who knows their reg by heart, private plates included. Choose chrome, gold or black metal, add a side flag (the green flash suits an electric car), and put a map of their favourite drive on the back. Two fobs cover both sets of keys.
For Dad or Grandad
His reg on the white plate at the front and the yellow plate at the back, like his car. Or give the back to the children: their words, their handwriting, a family photo, or up to 30 seconds of their voices. One for Dad and one for Grandad come as a pair.
For a boyfriend or husband
His number plate on the front, in chrome, gold or black. On the back, up to 30 seconds of your voice that he plays with his phone camera, or a map of where you met with the date. For an anniversary, or as a pair: one for each of you.
For a new car
The new reg for the new keys. Put a map of the drive home from the dealer on the back with the date they picked the car up, or keep it to the yellow rear plate. Dealers, garages and clubs ordering several can write to us.
For Christmas
A stocking filler with his own reg, 67.1 mm long, in its own gift box. Put a Christmas line on the back in a script font, or record a message. One chrome fob is £19 plus £2.99 postage. Orders are not open yet: the basket takes your email.
A voice message keyring
Your voice on their keys. Record up to 30 seconds in the browser or upload a voice note you saved. The back shows it as a sound wave and a printed code, and a phone camera plays it with no app on most phones. Their reg goes on the front. One is £25.
Ideas for the back
- The yellow rear plate: the same reg in yellow, like the back of the car.
- Your words: a short line in a font you pick.
- Handwriting: a note in your own hand.
- A photo: any one you like.
- A map: the road between two places, or one place, with words and a date.
- A voice message: up to 30 seconds, played with a phone camera.
