A boyfriend keyring: his reg, your voice
His number plate on the front, in chrome, gold or black metal. On the back, something only the two of you would understand. From £19.
Your voice on the back
Up to 30 seconds of your voice, printed on the back as a sound wave and a code that opens it on his phone. Record it in the builder on your phone or computer, or upload a voice note you already have.
What you say is up to you: a joke only he gets, the song you both sing badly in the car, or what you said on your first date, if either of you remembers.
A map of where you met
The back can also carry a map, of one place or of the road between two. Map where you met to where you live now, his flat to yours, or the route of your first trip together. Then add a few words and a date, such as the day you met.
A voice or map back costs £25 for one fob.
Your handwriting, or a photo
Not every back has to play. A few words in your own handwriting, or a photo of the two of you, are the quieter choices, and they keep the fob at £19 in chrome. Gold, like the one in the picture, or black adds £3.
You need his reg
The fob is made with his real reg, so find it before you build. Private, older and cherished plates all work, up to seven characters. If you share a car, use its reg, and the fob is as much yours as his.
For an anniversary, or for a husband
For an anniversary, put the date on the back with a map of where it started, or record a message about the year behind you. For a husband, the same ideas work with the reg of the car you share. The fob comes in its own gift box, so it is ready to give.
One each
Get a fob each. Two fobs are £35, two voice or map fobs are £39, and one of each is £37. Postage is free for two.
They can carry two different regs, or the same reg if you share a car, with "His" on one back and "Hers" on the other.
Shopping for Christmas? The stocking filler page has ideas for that.
How it works
- Type their reg. The fob turns in 3D as you build it.
- Pick the metal (chrome, gold or black) and what goes on the back.
- Once orders open, we make each fob to order and post it in its gift box.
One fob is £19, any two are £35. With a voice message or a map on the back: £25 for one, £39 for two. Gold or black metal adds £3. Postage is £2.99 for one fob, free for 2 or more.
Orders are not open yet. Build it now, and leave your email in the basket: we write when the shop opens.
