A car lover's gift: their own reg in metal
For the one who loves their car. A number plate keyring puts their own reg on their keys: a 67.1 mm metal copy of the plate, in chrome, gold or black. From £19.

Chrome, gold or black
The fob is cast metal in three finishes. Which one is right comes down to their taste and to the car.
- Chrome is the plain metal look, and the base price.
- Black suits a dark car, or someone who prefers things low-key. It adds £3.
- Gold is the bright one, for a classic or for anyone who likes to be noticed. It also adds £3.
In the builder the fob turns in 3D, so you can switch between the three and look at each from every side before you choose.
A private plate deserves it
If they paid for the reg, they will want to carry it. Cherished and older plates work the same way as current ones: up to seven letters and numbers, in the plate font. Someone with more than one car can have a fob for each, with a different reg on each one.
A car reg keyring is one of the few gifts for petrolheads that is theirs alone: no one else has the same plate.
The fob in the picture is S11 MON in black metal. Its back carries the yellow rear plate.
Side flags, and the green flash for an EV
The left edge of the plate can carry a flag: UK, GB, ENG, SCO, CYM, the EU stars or the green electric flash. Or leave it plain.
For someone who drives an electric car, the green flash is the one to pick. It puts the same mark on the fob that an electric car can carry on its plate.
A map of a favourite drive
The back can carry a map of the road between two places, with a few words and a date. Choose the drive they still talk about: a coast road, a mountain pass from a holiday, the run to a track day. A single place works too, such as the town where they bought the car.
A map back costs £25 for one fob.
Words that suit the car
If the car has a name, put it on the back. Or pick a line in a font that matches the car, such as a script for a classic or the plate font for something modern:
- "Sunday drives only"
- "Ours since 2019"
- "Keep her in fourth"
- the car's own nickname
Two sets of keys
Many cars come with two keys. Any two fobs are £35, and postage is free for two or more. The pair can differ: the rear plate on one and a map on the other comes to £37, and two map backs to £39.

How it works
- Type their reg. The fob turns in 3D as you build it.
- Pick the metal (chrome, gold or black) and what goes on the back.
- Once orders open, we make each fob to order and post it in its gift box.
One fob is £19, any two are £35. With a voice message or a map on the back: £25 for one, £39 for two. Gold or black metal adds £3. Postage is £2.99 for one fob, free for 2 or more.
Orders are not open yet. Build it now, and leave your email in the basket: we write when the shop opens.
